Evans Banks Planning Limited has been appointed by W. James Group to conduct a Pre-Application Consultation for the refurbishment and extension of the Waterside Nightclub in Carmarthen, with the aim of transforming it into apartments for retired individuals. The proposed development will fully renovate the existing nightclub, transforming it into a building that complements the character of the local area.
The proposed development constitutes a ‘major’ development whereby the Welsh Government pre-application consultation procedures (PAC) apply. (The Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure)(Wales)(Amendment) Order 2016) (‘the Order’).
Commencing on Tuesday 25th March 2025, comments and responses to the proposed application are now invited from all parties and should be received no later than Friday 25th April 2025.
