Evans Banks Planning Limited has been instructed by Gwernllwyn Leisure Limited to undertake a Pre-Application Consultation process for the Construction of 30 no. Bungalows to provide Assisted Living Accommodation, with Communal Parking and Landscaping Areas at Land rear of Gwernllwyn Care Home, and off Ty Newydd Terrace, Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire, SA14 6RL.
The proposed development will offer residents a sense of independent living without any element of care but at the same time provide access to on-site Care Staff from the adjacent Care Home if in need of assistance or visiting medical services.
The proposed development constitutes a ‘major’ development whereby the Welsh Government pre-application consultation procedures (PAC) apply. (The Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure)(Wales)(Amendment) Order 2016) (‘the Order’).
Commencing on Wednesday 15th January 2025, comments and responses to the proposed application are now invited from all parties and should be received no later than Friday 14th February 2025.
