Evans Banks Planning Limited has been instructed by FDH Properties Ltd to undertake a Pre-Application Consultation process in respect of the construction of 3 no. Commercial Units (Use Class A1/A2/A3) with 8 no. First and Second Floor Residential Apartments, together with a Detached 2/3 storey Residential Apartment Block accommodating 6 no. Apartments with undercroft parking.   The proposed development will be on land where the Ffaldau Arms was formerly located on Victoria Street, Pontycymer.   The proposed buildings will be more than 1000 square metres in combined floorspace and thus constitutes a “major” development, whereby the Welsh Government pre-application consultation procedures (PAC) apply (The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure)(Wales)(Amendment) Order 2016)(‘the Order’).

Commencing on Tuesday 29th March 2022, comments and responses to the proposed application are now invited from all parties and should be received no later than Tuesday 26th April 2022.
